Alex and Graeme Feechan opened the doors of their home and invited family and friends to join them in celebrating the the launch of the plora website and label.
As well as seeing the website go Live!! There was also the opportunity to purchase some unique Christmas Gifts from Plora with a 10% discount on initial Sales.
Alex Feechan receives business funding from NESTA – June 07
Starter for 6 supports entrepreneurs from across Scotland. Their business ideas range from renewable energies through to food sciences and hand printed materials.
Alex Feechan applied to take part in the first Starter for Six Programme. Following a highly competitive selection process Alex was one of 25 Creative Entrepreneurs chosen to participate in the Glasgow Programme.The programme ran from January 07 until June 07 and culminated in a "Dragons Den" style pitch for business funding.
The programme was of immense help to Alex enabling her to fully develop and fine tune her business idea.The new skills learned proved to be invaluable through the journey of setting up, running and sustaining her own business.
